As a caregiver on KobiCare, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of the pets and children entrusted to your care. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for all caregivers who use the KobiCare platform. By joining KobiCare, you agree to uphold these standards of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
1. Professionalism & Respect
- Treat every child, pet, and family with kindness, dignity, and respect.
- Arrive on time and complete all scheduled duties as agreed.
- Communicate clearly and professionally through the platform.
2. Safety First
- Prioritize the physical and emotional safety of every child and pet in your care.
- Never leave a child or pet unattended unless specifically instructed by the client.
- Immediately report any accidents, injuries, or concerns to the client and to KobiCare.
3. Prohibited Behavior
- Do not use alcohol, illegal substances, or smoke while providing care.
- Do not physically discipline or threaten children or animals.
- Do not engage in any discriminatory, harassing, or abusive behavior.
4. Confidentiality
- Respect the privacy of each client. Do not share photos, names, addresses, or other identifying details.
- Do not disclose sensitive family or household information to others, including on social media.
5. Hygiene & Cleanliness
- Maintain personal hygiene and dress appropriately for the caregiving role.
- Leave the care environment (home, play area, etc.) in equal or better condition than you found it.
6. Reliability & Communication
- Respond to booking requests and messages in a timely manner.
- Provide notice if you're running late or unable to fulfill a booking.
- Do not cancel last-minute unless it’s an emergency. Repeated cancellations may result in removal from the platform.
7. Qualifications & Accuracy
- Provide accurate information about your experience, skills, certifications, and background.
- Only accept jobs for which you are qualified and confident in performing.
- Be honest about any limitations, allergies, or preferences that may affect your care.
8. Independent Contractor Status
- Understand that you are not an employee of KobiCare or Protreon Inc.
- You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, licensing, and compliance with local laws.
9. Reviews & Conduct
- Act in a manner that earns positive reviews and builds trust in the KobiCare community.
- Do not solicit false reviews or attempt to manipulate your caregiver rating.
- Do not offer services off-platform to avoid service fees — this violates our Terms of Use.
10. Violations & Disciplinary Action
- Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform.
- Severe violations (e.g., abuse, theft, endangerment) will be reported to authorities.
